Sara Horvath is a singer/songwriter/artist from Livingston Montana. She has traveled all over the world, and seen many beautiful places and people. She is happiest with nothing but a guitar on her back and a smile to carry her along so she can follow wherever the wind takes her. She will always be a Montana girl with the river in her hear and a song in her head. “For all that I have, I thank my family and those who have inspired me in only ways that a melody can describe.” Horvath has a long list of influences including Jewel, Bonnie Raitt, Ella Fitzgerald, Etta James, and Eva Cassidy. Sara’s favorite musician is Sarah Mclachlan whose voice has carried her through tough times. She hopes to do the same for others someday. Sara Horvath is also a top 20 finalist for Miss Montana this year! She will be performing one of her original songs “Dream Come True” for the talent portion of the competition in June.
Anna McGary wants to make music and has the track record to prove it. Since picking up a guitar in 2004, she has recorded a 4-song solo demo, followed by her first full album, "A Simple Turn" in 2007. These two endeavors featured Bozeman, Montana musicians Brian Crumrine on drums, and Eddie T. on bass. Anna now lives in Missoula, Montana and fronts "Anna McGary and the Thirsty Three", her rock/funk/pop project with Aaron Johnson on drums, Paul Monk on guitar, and Sam Ore on bass. The group plays regularly around the state and is recording a demo in July of 2008. Anna writes all material for her music with the Thirsty Three, and is a promising up-and-coming artist to watch! Anna McGary is the 2007 TEMA (Trail/Entertainer Music Awards) Vocalist of the Year, and was a finalist for Songwriter of the Year.
Seth James - "I am continually amazed at the world, and how people are able to adapt to their current situations, to their current dilemma, their current emotion. I frequently find myself in a state of temporary emotion. One that seems to have a lasting effect, on me at least, anyways.... Tonight I felt the need to rise up from my current existence and leave a trivial land where all that seems to matter are poster boys, and the products/companies that they represent. Who are we as a people to decide what others should do, should not do, should think, and should not think? Obviously we are thinking way too much, or not at all as a society. I am inclined to think the latter as of late. I am frequently asked why I do not write music on a broader subject matter. Need you ask? This is my reply.... as a great man that preceded me once said, ‘all you need is love.’ So many people have gawked at that statement, have ridiculed a train of thought that has done nothing but prove and provoke those that do not have the tenacity to admit the truth to anyone, let alone themselves. Well here it is. The truth.... quit thinking of yourself, and what you need, or want. Put someone else before yourself. Hurt, bleed, and for god’s sake feel... for there in selflessness you will find that love is all you need...."
