Bewildermen’s second EP was recorded May 2007 in Aarhus, Denmark. It presents 3 songs written by the lead singer Rolf Heitmann, who is not only a singer-songwriter but also holds a Ph.D. in Comparative Literature with the American poet William Carlos Williams as one of his special fields of interest.
The first song, Deep-Sea Blue, deals with the psychological demon of depression; the second track is a strong attack on global injustice in general on the oppressive force of hunger in specific, the final composition which by the way is superbly song by the band’s backing vocalist Anni Slot relates Rolf’s experience of a severe and almost annihilating emotional rejection.
