RESTORED GOSPEL MUSIC FROM THE ORIGINAL 1978 REEL TO REEL TAPES
Back in 1978 South Carolina studio producer David Spinks put together the finishing touch on a new & soon to be popular Gospel Album by Jordan & Linda. Drummer Tony Torres provided the drums and David himself added strings to a few selections.
The album was sold in Zondervan Bookstores in Columbia, South Carolina at the new Columbia Mall in Richland Northeast, Columbia and became a local https://www.tradebit.com year''s end, the album sold out and eventually the original tapes were stored in a crate and forgotten.
As years passed, the original recordings were lost. But in early 2007, the recordings were re-discovered by South Florida sessions guitarist, Dan Kirby.
But the EQ quality most on many songs was not good, and it seemed like a re-issue would not https://www.tradebit.comever, some of the songs have now been digitally restored from their original source and re-issued for the first time.
We hope you''ll enjoy these rare recordings by Jordan & Linda and be inspired by the words & music. Only a few CD''s are available and will be discontinued when sold out. Only iTunes will eventually have the only digital versions.
Although these rare recordings are now more than 30 years old and worn down with time, the message of our risen Jesus our Lord Jesus Christ is as up to date as ever.

South Carolina''s brother & sister duo, Jordan & Linda performed from 1962-1968 at Fort Jackson''s Teen Club / The Pirate''s Cove and Mickey Finn''s Club at Two Notch road next to Doug Broomes and A&W rootbeer. The music was a mix of originals such as Memories, and other top-40 covers.
Guitarist Jordan & vocalist Linda were regulars on WIS TV''s Today In Carolina show as well as the popular children''s show MR KNOWZIT.
Jordan joined BMI in 1967 was offered a recording deal with Arthur Smith studios in Charlotte North Carolina in 1968. Jordan''s first record was released in 1971 followed by a Christmas album in 1978.
Meanwhile, Linda was married at 16 years old in 1968 and moved to West Palm Beach Florida to start a family.
Linda Kirby is now Linda Venturelli living in Hartsville, South Carolina since 2005 with husband, Dave.
Jordan now lives in Palm Beach Gardens Florida and still produces music at the Original Sound Productions Studios.
