Born in Jamaica, Jacqueline Clarke''s talent for singing was discovered at an early age. The third of 6 children, she gave her first performance at age 5. Encouraged by her family in her pre-teens she continued to sing, performing at weddings and church concerts. Because of her powerful voice and extraordinary talent, Jackie became well known throughout the island and was recruited heavily by individuals in the Gospel and Reggae music sectors. Jackie moved to the United States in the early 90''s and settled in New York City where she worked as a Patient Care Assistant. She continued to hone her talent by seeking the directions of vocal trainer Stanley Ralph, the father of Television''s legendary Diva, Sheryl Lee Ralph.
