Jenica Rayne''s music is uniquely her own. She is a passionate songwriter, accomplished guitarist and seasoned performer. Born in picturesque Prince Edward County, an island on the shores of Lake Ontario, Canada, Jenica comes from a long line of professional musicians. Having lived most of her adult life in Vancouver and the Gulf Islands, she now calls Kingston, Ontario her home. She studied jazz guitar and voice at Malaspina University College in Nanaimo BC and released her first CD, the critically-acclaimed "Hall of Memories", in front of a sell out crowd at Vancouver''s East Cultural Theatre in 1999. Her music has been described as "both raw and brilliant... some gems are best left unpolished" (John P. Mclaughlin, Vancouver Province) and "poignantly crafted... embellished wit wry wit and wordly wisdom" (Barry Newman, Cosmic Debris Magazine).
