Flawlessdarapchick is a female Rapper and Writer from Brooklyn, NY. She has been writing and performing music since the tender age of 9 years old. Flawless grew up in a household rich with love for music and the arts. Her Step-father is a Bass player and a Jazz Historian that traveled all over the country playing with musicians like Tito Puentes and Miles Davis.
Flawless was originally signed when she was 14 years old. However, as many small businesses do, that company fell through. That same year, she became the only female member of an all male rap group. It is with this group that she first began to perform at various venues until the group eventually disbanded.
Although many artists would have gotten frustrated and perhaps given up their dreams through their trials and tribulations, Flawlessdarapchick continues to maintain a positive outlook regarding the music business and pushes forward with drive, determination, and diligence.
Flawless rap style can only be compared to the best and baddest female MC''s. She has been compared to Remy Ma, Eve, Rah Digga and MC Lyte.
Flawless has appeared on over 10 mix CD’s and DVD’s. Her music has aired on musicchoice Rap uncensored channel.
Flawless recently released her own mix CD produced by DJ Sincere of Dirty Basement Radio, which she hosts. She also produced her own music video which will be released September 2008. Flawless is currently being managed by A-Train Marketing/ Management Company. She is a member of Hip-Hop Sisters and is on their playlist for August 2008. Flawless’ song “War” was selected for a movie soundtrack starring Ruby Dee. The film is set to be released in 2009.
Outside of writing and recording music, Flawless loves to perform. She has performed at various clubs through-out the tri-state area including; The Pyramid, Sputnik, Snitch, Karma Lounge, Sultana’s, T-NY, and many more.
This young lady is dedicated, motivated, and blessed with incredible lyrical abilities and a deep rooted love for music and the arts.
