The Feathertops, one of the most talked about bands in the Philadelphia area, bring rock to a new level in their widely anticipated international release MEET THE MOOKS. MEET THE MOOKS was recorded,mixed and produced by Ron DiSilvestro at RDStudios and mastered by Phil Nicolo at Studio 4 Recording.
The Feathertops were members of the Original Philadelphia based Paul Green School of Rock All Star Band. The band members have played The East & West Coast, Sundance Film Festival, Tempe Music Fest, Les Paul Tribute in Roseland ,The Zappanale Fest in Germany and much more.
The Feathertops have created, we hope you agree, an old time rock n roll album. The Feathertops combine rock with blues, R&B, and a little country/southern rock to form their own unique sound. MEET THE MOOKS is for people who have not purchased an album in a long time or have no attentions of buying one in the near future. This is the album for you. MEET THE MOOKS is for everyone who believed that rock n roll died a long time ago.
MEET THE MOOKS contain eleven songs which highlight a live Feathertops show. The songs display the band''s wide range from great dance tunes to powerful ballads. There are great dance tunes like "TOPHERS BIG DAY", an incredible story in ''THE ODYSSEY"(wait for that sax)."SGT HEYST" the uplifting , upbeat rock tribute to the veterans of WW2. The beautiful,haunting rock ballad "LORD JIM", based on the Joseph Conrad novel of the same name."LEAVIN'' TOWN & TARBUCKET BLUES" will satisy any lover of country/southern style rock. "That is only the tip of the iceberg" as the old saying goes.
