Currently finishing up a Master''s in Fine Arts and Education at The University of Montana, it is with true heart that Jeanlizabeth releases her sophomore album Summer 2005. The album "Restless" is packed with strong writing, hooky melodies, and enchanting harmonies. Look for songs including All I Want, Sacajewea, Broken, and Jimmy Mac.
Formerly in Olympia, WA based duo band, Tresses of Annie, Jeanlizabeth began performing live original music in 1998. In 1999, Tresses of Annie called it quits and Jeanlizabeth continued a solo career, playing pubs and coffee houses from Olympia to Bellingham, WA. In 2001, Jeanlizabeth released her first album, Driftwood, which gained local press and radio support (i.e. KAOS 89.3, KBTI 91.7). Publications began to show interest including The Victory Review, Bellingham Herald, Tacoma Reporter, and Tacoma''s Weekly Volcano.
Since the 2001 Driftwood release, Jeanlizabeth has been featured at local events including The Emerald Queen''s Taste of Tacoma (KISS 106.1 stage), Tacoma''s New Year''s celebration "First Night", and showcased twice for the USA Songwriter''s Competition. In May 2003, Jeanlizabeth was featured at Seattle''s Northwest Folklife Festival performing in The Experienced Music Project. She has circuited local music venues including Tacoma''s Jazzbones, The Swiss, Shakabrah Java, Seattle''s Fiddler''s Inn, and Lock and Keel in Ballard.
