After giving up guitar playing for nearly twenty years, John picked it up again in 2000 and soon discovered new songs rolling through his head and quickly began recording them. Playing all instruments including, guitar, drums, keyboards and trumpet, he soon brought some friends into the project including multi Grammy winner Alan Paul of The Manhattan Transfer, Mark Howell and his brother Tim Ellis. He began to upload the songs as they were completed to various music web sites including https://www.tradebit.com and https://www.tradebit.com. To his surprise they all rose quickly in the charts and stayed there for months.
