Alfie Capers has an extensive background. He was trained at New York Academy of Theatrical Arts and Al Fann Black Ensemble. Born in New York City, Alfie started singing as a child at the age of 9. His father, a trumpeter, formed and managed a family group, "The Capers Quartet," which consisted of Alfie, his two sisters, and a brother. The group played countless shows with "the greats of yesterday," such as, The Drifters, The Supremes, and Jackie Wilson. His skills and disciplines include singing, acting, songwriting, and karate master.
