Details:
Objective: Kayo’s idea is to build the reputation and status of MIXVR 5 Records. Also, to create the best marketable music ever known to mankind.
Current Project: The hit single “Rockin’ Out” is Kayo’s first single release, that is set to debute this August 2008. Kayo said he thinks that “Rockin Out” will indeed grab lots of attention because of what he calls the Hip-Hop/Rock effect.
Experience: Kayo has created and recorded songs in studios for over the past nine years. He has also performed before live audiences, radio stations, and wrote/arranged songs for other artists. He has done interviews with Chris Arnold and Skip Murphy at K104.5 FM station in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Also, he has organized local R&B and Rap groups.
Accomplishments: Kayo composed a hit Super Bowl song for the Dallas Cowboys in the 1993-94 season. The entitled song for that special occasion was called “On a Mission”, in which it was the Cowboys second run at another Super Bowl ring. He has opened up for the famous group OUTKAST at Club Lakeside in Dallas, TX. Also, he has had the opportunity of performing with a group called “Da Cipha” in opening up for the Summer Jam of 2005 at Smirnoff Center. He has also wrote songs for the soundtrack of “Devon’s Ghost” at https://www.tradebit.com. Within the Dallas/Fort Worth area, everyone calls him the Metroplex A&R because he knows what’s hot and what’s not.
Manager’s Comment: Kayo suggested the single was intended to combine his signature rap style with a mixture of Rock, Pop, and Alternative music. With this single, Kayo desires to capture the attention of an audience from all walks of life.
