Tom Ingram is from Western Massachusetts and has been an active musical force in the New England area since 1988. In 1991, he fronted a U2 tribute band called Zoo Station. This act performed throughout New England for almost a decade. In 1999, the Tom Ingram Band was formed as a cover band playing Led Zeppelin, Foo Fighters, Sublime, The Beatles, Stevie Wonder as well as their own material.
As they played their original material, they noticed that people responded the same to their originals as their cover material. This gave Tom the confidence to embark on a recording endeavor that would generate a full length CD. In 2002, Tom Ingram released "The Deep End" which is a mixture of Pop Rock with some elements of Funk.
With the success of "The Deep End", Tom immediately began to write material for his next album "Speed of Life" which was officially released in 2004. This album was an excellent sophomore effort and in 2005 and 2006 Tom had the distinctive honor of being nominated and voted the area''s top songwriter in the Valley Advocates Grand Band Slam poll.
In April of 2008, Tom released his third CD "Leave the World Behind". This album is distinctive and unique in that it can register with a wide age group. It has enough edge to appease the heavy rock fans and it also delivers elements of pop rock to satiate the listening needs of younger fans. "Leave the World Behind" was recorded live at Slaughterhouse Studio in Westhampton, Massachusetts and is arguably Tom''s best effort to date. Tom premiered the material for this album at a CD release party to a sold out audience at The Majestic Theater in West Springfield.
Tom is currently in the pre-production phase of his next studio album which is tentatively due to be released in September of 2009.
