This is a love song written by Jimmi Vaughn,James Williams& Edmond Henderson. https://www.tradebit.comes Williams wrote the lyrics and called Jimmi to see if he could find some music to accompany his lyrics. Jimmi happened to have some music that fit perfectly, and immediately went to work on the song with the help of his cousin Edmond. They took the song to the studio, and something special happen. Jimmi had no idea that this would be such a dynamic combination. Whenever someone listened to "I''m Dedicated", they all seemed to agree that it had a smooth flow that reminded them of the style of both Curtis Mayfield and Marvin Gaye. This song had a flavor of the old school as well as contemporary music. My new CD will be entitled " I''m Dedicated", and will be released in February with several additional selections added. Enjoy!

(Alton''s) native (Jimmi Vaughn) recently received the honor of being named (Suggested Artist.) by the Song of the Year ( https://www.tradebit.com ) songwriting contest. Song of the Year is an international songwriting contest supporting VH-1''s Save the Music Foundation. The Song of the Year judges are some of the biggest names in music including many Grammy Award winners.
Song of the Year is excited to recognize (Jimmi Vaughn) for (his) exceptional songwriting ability for the song (I''m Dedicated). (Jimmi) competed against songwriters from all over the world for this honor. When asked what inspired the song (Jimmi) commented that (lyrics (written by James E. Williams) were so moving, and the music he & his cousin "Edmond Petie Henderson", had written seemed to have been made just for the lyrics. The combined music and lyrics seemed to be a compelling duo. Currently (Jimmi) is concentrating on (his) ( music and songwriting) career while hoping to (have his music heard on radio stations around the world, and get a "record" or "publishing" deal.)
