Recorded at the time I was coming home after four years away,
"This IS my day job" is a collection of some of my favourite jazz standards with a couple of originals thrown in. Falling from They’re playing our song, a musical for which I was MD. Somewhere over the rainbow. At the time, just like Dorothy, I just wanted to go home.
Some of the songs were recorded with the assistance of musicians I''d met on my travels. To them, I say: lads, thanks for a wonderful four years.
