It all started as an alliance of two very talented MC''s: DJ(Yonkers,NY)and Rowdy(Hartford,C.T.) These two extremely gifted artists decided that they have a gift that was not to be wasted. They have a rare combination of skill and a very uncanny ability to turn a hater into a believer. Their styles of rap are different from the other but compliment each other very well and that enhances their ability to make music at an historic pace. DJ hailing from Yonkers,NY already had a established an relationship with DJ Superior and Most Hated entertainment also from Yonkers,NY and Rowdy City is an extention of that holding it down in the Tri-State area. While hiting the streets on a daily basis they were able to make lots of musical relationships, forming a strong alliance by adding others to the family such as Trax(a talented singer and producer from Bronx,NY),Dollaz(MC/Producer from Harlem,NY),DJ Venom of Corona,Queens and last but not least strongly apphilliated member of the crew E Daney Da 80''s Baby(MC from https://www.tradebit.com. With a strong nucleus in tact Rowdy City in the last few years(06-08) have created a huge buzz and a very solid reputation on the streets of bringing that
fire on every mixtape! Performing at numerous clubs and dropping some of the hottest mixtapes to bless the streets in a while called "Get MOney Season". This series began to take flight under the Most Hated Ent and has received lots of support in the streets as well as digitally. Get money season vol.1 was hosted by DJ Rated R and DJ Diggz(former Justo mixtape award winners) and has done very well moving over 800 units locally and counting and digitally has received more than 20,000 downloads to date and counting. With the growing popularity of their first project they became more and more relevant on the streets, therefore needing to drop another mixtape that will top the last one. And indeed they did! Linking up with Styles P(Member of the LOX and Ceo of D-block Records) they again blessed the streets with a classic which was vol.2 of the Get Money Season series. Recently released in march 2008 it already has received over 2,700 downloads and moving a 1,000 on the streets locally in the first week it was released. This is just the beginning of something very special and hip-hop will soon be blessed world wide by the talented Rowdy City! Be on the lookout for new mixtapes by Rowdy city very soon!!
