July, 2008 -- Less Label is pleased to announce their new release by recording artist 87 Central titled "OFFICE explodeR". The legendary sound design of 87 Central, an organic outcropping of glitch and ambient music, is described as "crackling musique concrete with deep bass and irregular rhythm" and as "non-4/4 atonal dance music". "Office Exploder" expands and incorporates the ambience of "Formation" (Staalplaat) and the post-glitch hard bop jazz of "Saxmower" (JDK Productions) with the infusion of new source materials from the N-Collective band Office-R(6) (Lampse, X-OR, A-Version) creating feedbacking self-referencial avant-garde party music. Taken from studio recordings of the Amsterdam-based improv masters Office-R(6) upcoming +3DB release titled "Recording the Grain" samples of percussion, saxophone, clarinet, double bass, and electronics are manipulated into different materials yielding three new tracks of contemporary improv shot down by a random string of binary somewhere between John Zorn and the less noisy end of Mego.
