Songwriter/musician/singer, Erik Broms released "Bend Your Ear", a collection of songs written and recorded after relocating to the bay area. A rotating cast of characters contributed their special flavors to an otherwise solo effort. The song "Don''t Leave the Girl" is featured on the ''Sleep Over'' episode of the highly-rated CBS drama Cold Case. The songs "Jesus and Me" and "Driver" are featured on the soundtrack to the surf film, "The Union Blue Project". Broms teamed with surf cinematographer, Don King, whose work is captured on the ABC series "Lost", and in such films as "Blue Crush", "Castaway", "Die Another Day", "Charlie''s Angels: Full Throttle", “Step Into Liquid”, “Riding Giants”, and “City of Angels". The soundtrack includes: Jack Johnson, God Smack, Agent 51, Buck Wild, Powderfinger, Hot Hot Heat, and Erik Broms. King and exceptionally talented wife, Julianne Yamamoto King, produced the award wining and deeply profound feature, "Beautiful son", a documentary about one family’s struggle to heal their son from autism.
