“Raise the Praise Up…Gotta tell My Story” an excerpt from the testimonial Weaver Chorale. This ensemble of spiritually filled, heaven bound, hand clapping, foot stomping captivates their audience with their spiritual chorale sound. The Weaver Chorale lead in ministry and vision by Robert Weaver began their insurgence in main stream Contemporary Gospel on April 1998 with only nine (9) members. However, with the guidance and direct supervision of the Holy Spirit this number increased to twenty-five (25) strong by first debut concert. The debut service was held at Old Path Cathedral C.O.G.I.C. in Vallejo, CA. Special guest in complete recognition and support included: Minister Ezell 111 and friends, Recording Artist: Psalmist Debra Henderson, Minister Keith Pringle, Minister Vashawn Mitchell and the ultimate voice of Dr. Kevin Bond of James Hall Worship and Praise. From then on God has really blessed the ministry and direction of The Weaver Chorale.
The Weaver Chorale launched their first debut CD single entitled “He’ll Make Everything Alright” which was featured in “Imani Gospel Magazine”. This single has afforded the ministry to sing through the U.S. and open up for and perform with some of God’s greatest recording artist. In 2001 and 2002, Minister Robert Weaver and The Weaver Chorale” was nominated for both “Best Ensemble and Best Group” of the year at the Justin Cummings Gospel Academy Awards held at the Paramount Theater in Oakland, CA. With the well deserved recognition and exposure on the rise Minister Weaver decided to go be lead by faith and expand the group to Atlanta, GA.
Minister Robert Weaver admires the song writing and choir directing styles of Ricky Dillard, James Hall, the late Orlando Drapper, Donald Lawrence, J.J. Hairston to name a few. With these great influences Minister Weaver was inspired to do his first live recording such songs as “Raise the Praise”, “Lord You Are My Everything”, “I Am More Than A Conqueror” and “Hold Me Close”, to be released Spring 2008.

The Weaver Chorale has been blessed and anointed to share the stage with many great artists like La Shun Pace, James Hall, Ricky Dillard, Pastor Hezekiah Walker, B. Chase Williams, J.J. Hairston and Youthful Praise, California’s National Legends Edwin & Walter Hawkins, Lady Helen J.H. Stephen and The Northern CA Chapter of the GMWA, Norman Hutchins, John P. Kee.
This group is on the move for the Lord knowing that all their help and blessings come from him above. With God’s continued help the Weaver Chorale will continue to not only minister through song but tithing with gifts of giving providing food and clothing for families in need.
As the vision remains plain to unite a plethora of young individuals from various backgrounds and denominations through Ministry of God’s word: through song. We plan to reach the inner city community through giving not only in song, but meeting the physical needs of people that are not as fortunate to have many of the necessities of live.
