No Jet Left, based out of both Culver City and Santa Cruz, have been honing their unique stoner pop sound since the dawn of the millennium. Operating under the motto of "Fuck minimalism," the band combines the instantly satisfying guitar crunch of early ''90s rockers such as Pavement and Weezer with the folk-eccentricities of Beck, the grooves of trip-hop, and the shoegaze soundscapes of My Bloody Valentine. Their debut EP, "Now You''re All Fucked" is the culmination of over a year of work, and is the first official release of the group. Ranging from all out, post-punk influenced rockers (Seek + Hide, What I Saw) to freak-folk (I Want Your Problems), and chunky baroque pop (Can''t Think), this disc somehow combines disparate sounds into a cohesive feel.
