Halfway Tree formed in early 2007, formerly under the name On My Day Off. Alex Drumm and Nirupan Vipul started collaborating with their acoustic work , and quickly started writing originals. As they started to expand their musical genres, they added Tyler Reimer and Jesse Dietschi on drums and bass. Halfway Tree''s styles now encompass a wide variety, including acoustic folk, alternative, indie, and rock. They have developed a keen ability to write original music and have quickly grown with a mature sound. They have been seen at Lady of the lake, Clancy''s and the 40 and have recently released their first EP, "The Moths".
