Mikal is a mix of something old and new, and fuses this into what you will hear. Born in the UK in the 80''s, Mikal studied performing arts in his hometown of Darlington, Co. Durham, before travelling the globe to gain inspiration for his music. Much of Mikal''s inspiration for his music comes from time spent in California to finally settling in London. He currently resides in West London and writes, produces and performs his own music.
His diverse music influences come from artists such as Jamiroquai, Michael Jackson, Kraftwerk etc, "throwing in a George Michael style vocal to boot!"
Working with producer Ben Jones (previous work includes Destinys Child and Chaka Khan) and DJPDance, Mikal has created a modern sound of the city, and music to be enjoyed by pop/dance music fans of all ages.
