Written by: Brenda Bolanos-Ivory, a navy wife, her husband LCDR Trevor Ivory, U.S. Navy, is currently stationed in Iraq with the 101st Airborne, U.S. Army. Her brother, Brian Mehnert, served in the 82nd Airborne, U.S. Army, her father, (ret) USAF LTC Ed Mehnert, served in the Vietnam war, and 8 of her ancestors fought in the American Revolution. (Very patriotic and pro-military family!)
