The Jon Zaslow, aka Fabulous Johnny Zee is a singer/songwriter from Canada. His early musical career focused on his guitar playing, where he played on others’ albums, jingles and the like. It turns out he has the knack for tunesmithery, and has spent the last 10 years developing this skill. To date he has 3 CDs to his credit. They have been well received and his reputation is now established. Fab’s drive to write a great song came from the desire to re-create a mood and energy he felt from his early listening to the Beatles, Steely Dan and the like. One of the reviewers reports : “The sonics are spot on, the arrangements are complex without being complicated, the singing and guitar playing are both on the highest level (and sounding like no one else), and the songs ...... well, the songwriting is just superb.
