NOW! a NICER PRICE!!!!!!!!!!!

"A Junkie Doodle Dandy" by Johnny J. is a complicated story.
A first listening to this CD remains me much about Björk or Pink Floyd or Brian Eno. But on the other hand it don´t. Or again, all of the above together.

The first 3 songs are all attached together, and with a minimum of breath-catching you´re thrown into song #4 which is bind together with song # 5 and #6.

Then #7, "Mzungo Techno", not at all a techno song, is screaming out it joy of living, seem not have nothing to do with the rest of the songs on the CD.
"A French Piece", song #8 began like the first song on the album; "Intro", but it is longer and a Jimmi Hendrix guitar is added and sounds like something you could have been lucky to experience on the Woodstock Festival in `69, if you´d been born then.

And this/these songs, #8, 9 & 10 is all together and you can´t tell where one ends and the other one begins. And the song #10, "Hide, Too" is almost the same as song #3, "Hide, One", but some harsher mix, with angry guitars.
And after "Hide, Too" it is silent in about 10 sec, and "The End" follows, which is the same as "Intro", by the way. And there, when you think it is The End and silence is ruling the speakers for about 20 sec, a "bonus song" starts. It is the mighty fine "On The Border", also an `old´ "Totally Waste Of Time" song, in a new mix. So enjoy!

When you think the album is over and played, you still have more than 7 min of good music left!

Alright!
Seriously, this is a story about a boy (or a girl) who just happens to find some BAD drugs, (is there any good ones?) and finally, of course, turn out to be more dead than alive. This is how the story goes;

"Intro" ; Birth and Childhood
"Virgin Dose" ; The first one the BIG mistake
"Hide, One" ; Change of nature
"A Few Remaining Years" ; Pre-O.D. thought
"Doubters" ; `Friends´ who disagree
"A Junkie Day" ; Just a(-nother) Junkie Day
"Mzungo Techno" ; Almost back to life to song and dance
"A French Piece" ; Pure white dirty dope
"Distress" ; Body failures
"Hide, Too" ; Like the first - but LAST BIG mistake
"The End" ; Back to before birth
+ (= On The Border) ; Spiritual Conversation

Okey, Folks!
There you have it, the story of A Junkie Doodle Dandy by Johnny J.

And keep away from the drugs - You´ll understand why after been listening to this CD!!!
