My prayer is that God uses this recording to touch the secluded places of your heart;
offering hope for the hopeless, joy for the troubled, and strength for the moments
you find yourself in need. You may be, or have been, like me for many years, just going
through the motions of life, but never understanding how current and real God is.
He wants to give us the peace we cannot understand, and wants to provide the grace
we need for our everyday lives, if we will just ask for it. Maybe you have never understood
that we are separated from heaven by our own choices and there is but one way to remedy
that separation. May you don’t know what it means to follow Christ. Maybe you never
thought to call on Him as a friend, or perhaps you have even thought you could not be
accepted by Him due to the guilt of your past. I am living proof that God works in the
hardest struggles of our lives. If that describes you, it is my sincere desire, that for
the first time, you have an idea of who Jesus is and what He has done and can do for you,
knowing how important it is to live every single day as if it is your last.
If you have not yet seen the need or decided to follow Christ, you are not alone.
Everyone on earth, including myself, has been or is currently where you are. Searching
for something to fill a void they didn''t realize was even there. Let me encourage you
to seek a true and greater understanding of His powerful love before you form an opinion.
Seek the truth in His written Word, and seek answers from those who use the bible as their
guide. Perhaps you think God is like the police officer waiting to catch a speeding motorist,
as if He just waits to condemn you for your wrongs. Nothing could be farther from the truth.
God knew we could not pay the price for our wrong doing, and Jesus clearly and specifically
explained that He came to save the world from itself, not to condemn the world for being
wrong. If you are like I was, you might make up as many excuses as possible, running away
as quickly as possible, only to find that all you did was cloud your own judgement.
Before I accepted God''s gift of life, I had someone explain how much God gave up; the life
of His only Son, just so I could eventually live in heaven. It was explained through the bible,
that I was condemned in my own failure, unless I accepted God''s gift. I had to turn away from
the things that make me dirty and unclean, ashamed and guilty, and make a simple choice.
I could live as I had, without hope of a future, or I could accept Jesus'' sacrifice, and live eternity in heaven. Just like a traffic ticket, someone has to pay the fine. Will you allow Jesus to pay your fine?
If you will be humbled enough to accept Him as a gift, when you pass from this temporary life on earth, you will hear Him say "Welcome Home, faithful child", as He allows you to enter His eternal heavenly home, where He has prepared a place for you.
God bless you my friend and keep you far from the evil one. I hope we can eventually meet, if not in this life, in the one that will be filled with overwhelming joy in a place that cannot be imagined. When we can enjoy our eternal home: heaven.
