Details:
"This collection offers our songs in the way Josh originally composed them, with not only acoustic guitar and bass, but drums, electric guitars, woodwinds and keyboard. The album includes new, improved, arrangements of songs from our original demo album, plus many new numbers including: the title song "Saving Grace", a crowd favorite; "Our Song", because every band needs a signature love song; and "E-minor Thing", which is different than anything most of you have heard us do before. We are very pleased with the way this album came together and hope all of you will feel the same."

Josh Cramoy''s "career" as a singer began at the age of two when he offered up all of Tevya''s songs from the movie Fiddler on the Roof with a little encouragement from his older sisters, Samantha and Tanya. With his introduction to the work of Billy Joel at age 4, his true passion for music was sealed and he has never voluntarily stopped singing since.

Josh counts among his greatest musical influences, Billy Joel, Garth Brooks, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Creed, Dispatch, and Sublime.

When his family moved from Connecticut to Lake Placid, NY, in the summer after 9th grade, Josh''s biggest fear was that he would not be able to continue to grow as a musician so far away from his mentor, Jackie Martino - singer, songwriter, voice teacher. However, he soon found that the music education and performance opportunities at Northwood School were tremendous and Josh was able to continue to grow in skill and confidence. He began writing and recording his own original songs. His first songs, "Mayday" and "Overboard" quickly became favorites among his friends, classmates and teachers.

In the summer of 2002, prior to his senior year of high school, Josh launched his professional career with his first gig at the Wobbly Moose Bar and Grille in AuSable Forks. He was pleased to find that his younger brother Jeremiah, then a junior whose commitment to music was rekindled at Northwood School, was eager to join him as bass guitarist, and back-up singer.

Now, Josh and Jeremiah play several nights each week. They are occasionally joined by their older sister, Tanya, a student at The University of Vermont and are hoping to add a permanent drummer to the band soon. They have expanded their reach to include not only the Lake Placid/Adirondack area, but also Plattsburgh, Glens Falls, Albany, and Lake George.

Saving Grace, the band''s first full-length original album, was released on June 20, 2003 to a most enthusiastic crowd at Borders Books in Plattsburgh, NY. The album offers full-band renditions of 12 of Josh''s original songs.

During the winters, The Josh Cramoy Band is featured at opening ceremonies and VIP parties for many of the major winter sports events sponsored by the Olympic Regional Development Authority, including World Cup and Junior Olympic Events. They also provided the musical entertainment for the athletes'' party at the 2004 Empire State Games held in Lake Placid.

In addition to seeking success in the recording industry, The Josh Cramoy Band is committed to using their music to help others. To this end, they have worked with The AIDS Council of Northeastern New York, The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Burlington, Vermont and The Annual Diversity Conference of Clinton Community College, Plattsburgh, NY. On May 2, 2004 the band will again work to benefit the AIDS Council of Northeastern New York, by appearing as the host band and emcee''s for the "Spring Jam" band fest to be held at Plattsburgh State University. This new and improved event replaces the City of Plattsburgh''s Battle of the Bands which The Josh Cramoy Band won in 2003.

The band has been featured several times on WLPW-105.5 (Lake Placid Radio) performing live music hours on the Ernie Hough Show.

After graduating with the class of 2003, Josh is now planning to devote the next few years to songwriting and performing. Josh''s other interests have always included ice hockey, water-skiing, caring for his reptilian pets, and engaging in philosophical debates. This year he has added ceramics and karate to that list.

Jeremiah will graduate from Northwood School with the class of 2004. For recreation, he enjoys snowboarding, rock-climbing, water-skiing, karate, drawing, computer-gaming and, of course, listening to all types of music.
