MP3 Jane Thatcher and the Third Wheels - No Way to Say

Music danceable enough to be pop, lyrical enough to be folk, and strong enough to be rock. A "Polk Rock" combination with something for everyone.

11 MP3 Songs
ROCK: Folk Rock, FOLK: Folk Pop

Details:
From the Brazilian drumming on My Own St. Paul, to the funk guitar on No Way to Say, to the bare, tender, acoustic Over and Over, Jane Thatcher and the Third Wheel''s debut album crosses musical lines to weave a deeply creative, intelligent album marked by the musical past of each player. The band has created music danceable enough to be pop, lyrical enough to be folk, and strong enough to be rock. This band has the sound of Fleetwood Mac, and the lyrical and vocal feel of Jewel and Natalie Merchant.

In the late summer of 2003, a group of friends re-united themselves after the college life had scattered them across the globe. Brother''s Kevin and Steven Davis joined siblings Jane and Dave Thatcher in Kevin''s bedroom for hot, cramped rehearsals. Jane''s prolific solo singer/song writer career left the group with a library of well-crafted, alternative, acoustic guitar songs to build upon. The music soon grew into a far larger sound infused with pop and dance sensibilities, rock rhythms and Jane''s deep and potent singing and lyrics.

Since the band''s beginning, it has shown over and over it''s ability to attract a large and enthused audience. Within Salt Lake Cities all-ages music scene, the group continues to provide packed venues, dancing fans, and deep held silence during entrancing acoustic songs.
