My born name is Timothy L. Mims Jr. My friends and family call me Lee (hence the middle initial). I grew up playing music in The House of God Church, Keith Dominion. If it sounds familiar to you as a listener of music it''s because musicians such as Calvin Cooke, Robert Randolph, Glenn Lee, and the LeeBoys are artists who started out in this organization and have since gotten known by the community.
Although my primary focus is electric guitar, I also play bass, acoustic guitar and pedal steel guitar. All of which will be heard on this project. I grew up in a traditional gospel setting but have always took traditional songs and put my own interpretation on it.
This CD is a combination of instrumental and song. I would like to thank Curious ID, Godsword, Paid in Full, John Wunsch and Chanel Clybourn for helping me on this project. This CD is a birds-eye view of what is to come. The next project will be out between late 2008 and early 2009.
