Details:
Imagine for a moment that instead of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr and George Harrison collaborating on “The White Album”, what if, just what if The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Queen, Stevie Ray Vaughn,U2,The Eagles and Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young decided to pool their creative genius for one mind bending double album?
Would the critics complain about the “lack of artistic direction” or “thread of continuity”?
Farrell Webber, best known for his performance as vocalist in “Houses of the Holy” A Tribute to the music of Led Zeppelin and the regional smash hit albums, “Social Offense” and “Blood in the Water” by London Calling, not to mention his acting career starring in the Broadway musicals “Jesus Christ Superstar” and “My Favorite Year”, has rolled the dice to come up with this, his newest release, a 35 song (no ,that’s not a typo!) double cd to capture the styling’s of some of the greatest rock and roll eras of our time.
But don’t be fooled, these songs aren’t clever re-tooling’s of famous songs or bands but rather songs written from inspiration from a time when album oriented rock ruled the air waves and radio stations had the balls and power to “break” songs from unknown artists, independent of the iron fisted control of the corporate MTV generation Giants.
Each of the tracks on this twin disc set stand on its own, driven by Webber’s five octave, virtuoso voice and extraordinary guitar performances by international multi instrumentalist Larry Smith, Mark Crowell of The American smash Steely Dan Tribute, “Show Biz Kids” and Dave Kalz from none other than “Impala Deluxe”. Keyboard duties, along with French horn by Jonathan Edmond Thomas III of the Saint Louis Philharmonic Orchestra. Rounding out this ensemble cast is SBK/Virgin recording artist, George Potsos , Rob Sherman of “Houses of the Holy”, and Dario Bush on bass and Jerry Saracini, Tony Antonelli , John Tellman and Johnny Freedom, also of “London Calling” and “Houses of the Holy”on drums.

This is an “album” for listeners who crave the diversity that rock and roll can truly be.
