HUFF DA AUTHOR, was born in the same situation that leads most young men into the prison system. Music and Hip Hop was a visual exclamation of his destiny . After spending years in the streets and prison, he realized a higher purpose in life. Once HUFF DA AUTHOR left that part of his life he returned to the studio armed with renewed confidence. Influenced by hip-hop legends Pete Rock, DJ Premier and with over 8 years doing production it''s apparent that he learned much from his influences, both in production AND lyrics. His smooth demeanor is a veneer for the fire that burns within. HUFF DA AUTHOR can be best described as a lyrical activist whose words are meant to "inform, inspire and entertain".
Solo artist ZIG_LAH, already known for "ripping" microphones at shows throught the "Middle East", has perfected his flow and delivery in a precise and emotional masterpiece. After several great guest appearances with his extended family, FAM 1st, ZIG-LAH has now created a tremendous buzz in anticipation of his Debut Album."Fam 1st, snatched me up and said look, we got you...its your time and your going to get your music heard! So I asked the guys...what drives you to stay competitive in this over saturated music game. Their answers were sincere and oh so real. "It is just a great thing to be able to share some of our vision, just trying to build with our FAM-base, and meet new people and share our music with them on a personal level, not on some hype or to boost any egos, thats not what music is about. We are patient, but we also know that success is right around the corner, and we are READY!"
Judging from the response of the Mix Cd (15,000 pre-orders its first week!), "SIGNATURE SERIES" KantStop actually might live up to their word. After listening to the music and doing this interview I have officially been converted over to one of those people,their FAM. I believe you KANT STOP! You guys are a gentle beast ready to change the way people view Hip-Hop.
