10 MP3 Songs
WORLD: Reggae, WORLD: Island

Details:
A rare, collector''s item digitally remastered from the archives. Kimo & Jody Huybrechts'' Reggae band from the early 90''s called Kaona with their album entitled "Rhythms of the Earth." A very rootsy, gospel reggae album fused with some native Hawaiian instruments (such as the ''ohe hano ihu - bamboo nose flute). Recorded at the first Cave Studio in Ka''u Hawaii.

Kaona which literally means "hidden meaning" in Hawaiian poetry personifies this rootsy Gospel Reggae group from the Big Island of Hawaii. Their message rings clear with certainty and crucialness within Reggae grooves, Hawaiian Slack Key (Ki ho''alu) nuances, Bamboo Hawaiian nose flute (ohe hano ihu) and rich vocal harmonies such as found on the band''s hit "Representation".

This album features:
Kimo Huybrechts on guitars, vocals and Hawaiian nose flute.
Jody Huybrechts on bass guitar, vocals and flute.
Kirk Dossey on rhythm and lead guitars.
Jabo Morrow on drums and percussion.

"Some rootsy reggae! Many are called, but few are chosen. Righteous sounds! Definitely no ''ganja'' here." [Manwel Tabone, DJ, Radio Malta]
