In the fall of 2005, brothers Rex Rivers and Axe Dungeon (guitars), along with their cousin Mikey-B (drums), began to lay the foundation for the band that would be know as Passion At Gunpoint. After numerous vocal tryouts, the trio eventually stumbled across Kid Deadly late one night in a small Kutztown PA pub. During his first practice, “Deadly” did not shy away from the microphone, and immediately clicked with the rest of the band. Soon to follow, bassist Jonny Odd Six joined the group, and added thick bass lines, and strong vocal harmonies.
Passion At Gunpoint combines metal and hardcore riffs, dual guitar harmonies, scorching solos, screaming, singing, vocal harmonies, quick catchy drum beats, and bass lines that hold the spine of the band. Somewhere between Rock and Metal, the band found no trouble in booking shows, and making fans.
As Passion At Gunpoint continues to grow, they show no signs of slowing down. They are a hard working band who are not afraid to do things themselves, and will always strive to do bigger, and better things.
