With their new CD, "Worn Out Shoe", fans will finally have their hands on songs such as "Slow Down for Love", "Butterfly" and "God is on Your Side" which have become requested favorites at shows. "Blue Sky", the 9 Feet Tall song that was written about the September 11th terrorist attacks, is also included on the CD and was recently featured in a multimedia presentation produced by The First Presbyterian Church of New Brunswick, NJ.
Singer / songwriter Kathy Anderson first came up with the idea for the band two years ago after the previous band she sang with stopped performing. "I was eager to perform my own music, rather than covers. I asked the ''cream of the crop'' musicians I had performed with over the years to join me. I was so thrilled when they each said yes, without hesitation. This band is truly a gift to me." Those musicians are keyboardist Rob Hamrick, drummer Gerry Piazza, lead guitarist Tom Pfau, bass player Pete Scibienski, and Kathy''s husband, Dan, on the acoustic guitar.
Playing a wide variety of venues including County Fairs, Fund Raising events, coffee houses, and community service events, the music of 9 Feet Tall, brimming with tasteful words and melodies, is "growing" every day...

9 Feet Tall performed at a Coffeehouse we held to raise awareness for the Leukemia & Lymphoma society. Since the Coffeehouse was a benefit for an illness which impacts a variety of people, it attracted people from various cultures and ages. The original music and lyrics of 9 Feet Tall united this diverse group of people for over two hours. Many of the attendees were interested in purchasing a CD. We would definitely ask 9 Feet Tall to perform another concert.
