Used to be a book club, now we''re a band. We''re the Ha-ha-ha-hotcakes! The kids are being quickly converted to the magic of our swagger and our la-la-la-lovely music. Our songs are tales of heartbreak, secret agents, ghost stories, and drunken debauchery. Ya know, something relatable. Well, at least in our book club!
Members are Erin Marsz (vocals) Chris Hills (guitar), Lee Leshen (drums), and Eva Brooks (keyboards & backing vocals). The group has recently finished their first self titled EP, produced by Josh Peck. The sound of the band is influenced by such artists as The Go-go''s, Dusty Springfield, Blondie, Jimmy Hendrix, and Nikki and the Corvettes. And of course - girl rock n''roll!
Erin is a former member of the New York based band Tralala (Audika Records) and appears on Moby''s latest album ''Last Night''. Chris Hills writes and produces for UK label KPM/Musichouse (EMI) and New York production house Pulse music.
