About "Music For People":

"You''ll be granted passage to some of the loveliest compositions I''ve ever heard be self-produced by an independent artist. Ganz'' halting phrases are like tentative steps into a realm of sanctity." -Minor7th Acoustic Guitar Webzine

About the artist:

Keith Ganz is a New York-based guitarist/composer who is primarily known for his highly individual presence in the New York City jazz scene. He performs regularly at the major NYC jazz clubs including the Blue Note, the Jazz Standard, Sweet Rhythm, Birdland, Joe''s Pub, and the 55 Bar and has recorded with a long list of diverse artists including Palmetto Records vocalist Kate McGarry, Grammy-winning vocalist Andy Bey, and bassist Sean Smith. Keith''s unfailingly melodic, soulful, and spontaneous acoustic guitar work have made him one of the most sought after accompaniests and sidemen in the city.

Now, with the release of his solo recording "Music for People", Keith reveals another side to his artistry on 8 original compositions, 2 covers and one pure improvisation, all performed on a variety of acoustic guitars. The music could easily be called folk or jazz but regardless, the core of the music is melody, sincerity, and simply gorgeous guitar playing.
