What do you mean you’ve never heard of Revelation 19? Where have you been all your life?! It happens to be a chapter in your bible!
Revelation 19 also happens to be the music ministry of Calvary Chapel of Nederland, Colorado. What began as the worship team grew to become a music outreach, complete with a small choir, in an effort to take the gospel out into the local community and beyond.
The church is located in the heart of Nederland, a small town situated in a valley at 8,236 ft, high in the Rocky Mountains. Many of the greatest names of rock and roll history lived and /or recorded at the world famous destination studio of Caribou Ranch located just a few miles on the edge of town.

Now I know what you’re probably thinking, but the closest we ever got to that studio was about a mile and a half down a dirt road, in a wood shed. Yeah, you’ve got the picture. Take all the wood out, pile it next to the shed, cover the walls with foam rubber, close the door, fire up the eight track and wallah! Add God and a whole lot of prayer and you’ve got a recording studio and the birth of a new CD.
When time came to record the choir, the studio was too small to fit them in but not to worry; the boys of “Scarlet Rose” (now somewhere in Montana) packed up the gear, moved it into our pastor’s office and there it was… Studio 2! Proof that God still uses ordinary people to do rather, well, unordinary things!

The outcome was quite surprising, in fact good enough to get a little air time out in Georgia, as well as locally on AM and FM 94.7 KRKS in Denver when we were given an hour long interview for promotional purposes back in ’97. With the help of Discmakers, sound mastering studio, this re-release of “He is Almighty” has brought it closer to today’s standards. The Internet now brings it to you!
We’ve been blessed to minister to some very large churches and on a few college campuses. (Great fun!) But our efforts have been centered around the “small things;” hospitals, nursing homes, senior centers, homeless shelters, juvenile prisons, small churches, “dying” churches, and growing churches, in the hopes of uplifting, inspiring, and blessing. We’ve done benefit concerts for crisis pregnancy centers, emergency medical situations and even for churches needing financial assistance such as for expansion projects.

Since the early ‘90’s we have been ministering to the Navajo churches and friends located in the Navajo Nation of Northeast Arizona, where we have been involved in hands on building projects as well as producing concerts. We were also the first “Anglos” (non-Native Americans) to perform at the Native American Gospel Music Festival, held in Farmington New Mexico.
We give many of our CD’s away to those who can’t afford them, knowing full well that for some it may be the only “Bible” they ever own. For that reason, and for the sake of the truth, we make sure every song is biblically sound.

I tell you this to give you a glimpse of our little ministry, not to brag. We never charge a fee because we believe that where the Lord guides, He provides. He has always proven faithful when we are faithful to “Go!”
It is our hope and prayer that you will be blessed by our music and in knowing you have given to the Lord through us, as we continue to lift Him up in song and in the sharing of the good news! God bless!
