The band''s debut album, Breathless, was released in December 2000. Leader Kim Collins describes Breathless more as a "compilation" than a "first record" representing her recordings over the last six years.
Despite Kim''s intentions for this album to be a just a compilation of her work, she has been pleasantly surprised as to the strong reaction to the album. Nashville''s influential AAA station WRLT jumped on the song "Cold Hearted" right away where it has remained in the station¹s top 100 songs of 2001. "Cold Hearted" is also a hit on https://www.tradebit.com shooting straight to the Top 10 of the International Alternative charts, proving that Kim''s Fable''s appeal stretches across the globe. The band is currently in the studio working on their second full length album to be released in the fall of 2004 with famed engineer/producer Roger Moutenot (Lou Reed, Paula Cole, Guster...).
