Details:
She began her music career in the 5th grade, when she played her first original tune live for the 5th grade class in a stunning live performance of a horror film. It was even complete with ketchup blood and scrambled egg brains. The performance received a standing ovation from the other 9 year olds and her career has only improved since.

This project is her first solo album, recorded as a result of a New Year''s conversation with long-time friend, Dean Rocco. Both had always wanted to record together, but never had the guts to ask the other. After a few tasty beverages and a rousing game of Cranium, the partnership was born. Dean is a very tallented sound engineer and producer with whom she was thrilled to have the opportunity to work. The recording took place exclusively in Belmont Studios, which also happens to double as Robin''s living room. Despite some interesting challenges (like the birth of Dean''s first baby and a nasty threat by the landlord if they didn''t stop playing the djembe), the album was complete in six months!

Many of her tunes are written about various aspecs of the wilderness and thoughts thereof. Since she is much more at home 10,000 feet up a mountain than in a cubicle of any height, this is only natural (no pun intended). Music is an avenue that she uses not only to describe what is actually seen in the wilderness, but to try and paint a picture of a lifestyle and paradigm through which it is possible to make sense of the craziness of the world. Those who enter the wilderness never come back the same. Some may say that those who listen to this cd will not be the same, either. That fact is still debatable.

"I am trying to teach you that this alphabet of "natural objects" (soils and rivers, birds and beats) spells out a story... Once you learn how to read the land, I have no fear of what hou will do to it, or with it. And I know many pleasant things it will do to you." - Aldo Leopold

These tunes are raw. At times they are full of hope and other times they are the furthest thing from it. Some were written while standing in line for a latte, others on the verge of a breakdown. In short, this album is a glimpse at a woman who is wandering and stumbling through life trying to find her way. At some level, everyone in the world can relate. We are all trying to find our way.
