Elisa has over a decade of experience performing and writing indie rock, blues, and folk. As the lead singer of the New Haven-based funk-blues band Blue Fountain Diner, Elisa Korenne played with Buffalo Tom, G. Love & Special Sauce, and Parliament. In 2001, she founded the rock band ''Lolett'' to add ambient guitar textures and funk- and R&B-inspired grooves to her songs.
For four years starting in 1996, Elisa took a break from public performing while she got her master''s degree and founded an international technology nonprofit. In early 2000, she reconnected with her first love, music, and began to write a new repertoire to reflect her musical and personal development.
Performing around New York City, Elisa has created a sound that combines vocal intensity, sharp, contemplative lyrics, and a driving groove inspired by rock, funk, R&B, psychedelic rock, pop, electronica, and soul. She has played at venues across the Northeast including Le Bar Bat, CB''s Gallery, the Elbow Room, the C-Note, Pete''s Candy Store, Galapagos, New Hope''s John and Peter''s, and Long Island''s Wrong Way Inn.
