Honors to my almighty King on high. This is my first album in which all songs are original and composed by me. When I thought and prayed about the theme song, the words; “Let It Be Me”, vividly stood out above the rest. I know that God is continuously seeking people to serve him and spread the good news of his love and salvation. When the Prophet Isaiah realized God was looking for servants, he said “Here am I send me” even though he felt unworthy. I too feel unworthy, but thanks to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ who died on the cross for my sins; through him, I can do all things. I really didn’t know that I had the ability to write songs until I was inspired by the Holy Spirit. Many nights, I would lie down and try to sleep, but couldn’t because of words that came to my mind. Truly, God is awesome and I feel honored that he chose me. All the glory and praise belongs to him. Come now and let us sing praises to the Lord, the rock of our salvation and worship him in spirit and in truth for the Lord is good and his mercy endures forever. I pray that the album be a blessing to you and minister to your needs. To God be the glory for ever and ever.

I honor my late parents, James and Corine Johnson, my true and precious memories. My parents instilled in me as a youth that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. I’m also grateful for our entire church family, St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church, Athens, AL., Pastor Wesley D. A special thanks to Pastor Theotis Acklin and my sister in Christ, Minister Nettie Pruitt.
