Srcem I Dusom is the long awaited collaboration of accordionists Rudy Grasha and Butch Kresovich. Once teacher and student, and now Master Accordionists, these two musicl virtuosos and former Duquesne University Tamburitzans featured performers have, at long last, teamed together to present a montage of favorite Slavic song and dance music from East Central European regions of present day Serbia, Macedonia, and Bulgaria.
Accompanied by Jim Grasha, also a former Duquesne University Tamburitzans featured performer, and Frank Mosca, primo basso, this talented quartet has re-created the haunting styles, lilting musical phrases, and rich, fiery rhythms that so typify the rich culture and heritage of this beautiful and enchanting region. Adding to the mix is the sultry and captivating voice of Jennifer Grasha, another Duquesne University Tamburitzans alumni and featured solist.
We hope you enjoy "Srcem I Dusom" as we feel it truly exemplifies the "Heart And Soul" of the heritage and culture we are proud to be part of.
