The Akron based band Krank was chosen out of thousands of entries as a top 50 Qualifier in "The American Music Awards® Presents The Coca-Cola New Music Award" 2003 Competition.
Krank was picked out of a numerous amount of submissions to be on a DOORS compilation CD called "Love her Madly" they did a cover of the song "I looked at you" off the Doors first album.
Krank appeared on a compilation CD for the clothing store chain Hot Topics to be given away at all their new stores called TORRID. They chose the song "Get it Right" from Krank''s last CD.
Krank is one of the most popular unsigned bands online, currently holding over 29,000 downloads on the https://www.tradebit.com site and selling many CD''s around the world.
