Bio
Kris Somers is a singer, guitarist, and songwriter from Boston MA. He started a power trio called Tryp2Nite in 1998, and put out two CDs with them. They did well on the local scene getting radio play and creating a buzz, including getting critical acclaim from Aerosmith guitarist, Brad Whitford. During that period Kris attended The Berklee School Of Music, which helped him develop and articulate his style.
For the last two years Kris has been working on a new sound that includes all the many influences and experiences of the past. Songs from his last CD Suns Of Soul can be heard on the new independent film The Bull Pen, which will be showing at many of the film festivals this year. His new CD Beach Circus has just been pressed and has been doing very well with the 1st single INTO U.
His band Tryp2Nite consists of himself on Guitar and vocal, JJ Armstrong on Drums, and Sean Gadz on the Bass. Look for them coming to a city near U!!!
