Details:
Cengiz (pronounced Jengis, before anyone asks!) are a London, UK four-piece with a pile of addictive, wide-screen rock/pop songs and ambition to match.
Fronted by former three-times world champion kickboxer Cengiz Dervis, the group has just come to the end of its most exciting 12 months since the formation of the current line up in 2005.
Spring saw the release of debut EP “Help Me From Me.” (available on iTunes, Napster and Tower Records). The material is proving popular, with nearly 25000 plays on the band’s Myspace page (https://www.tradebit.com and thousands of friends joining up since the page opened in 2006 with now regular airplay on a network of Australian and USA radio stations.
Summer the band returned to Serbia for the Exit Festival in Serbia - three intense days of media and performances to Balkan radio stations and at the festival in the moat of the castle.
The band have now shot a few videos and currently working on two to promote Everwished
The next step? carry on gigging, recording and having fun....
