Alyssa Suede has been singing and performing since the age of three. She''s from a family of musicians. Her dad is well known arranger/composer David Campbell, Beck is one of her brothers, and her mom, Raven Kane, is a singer and theatre composer.
While growing up in Los Angeles, Alyssa was a champion figure skater. She and Sasha Cohen trained together with Olympic coach John Nicks, which lead to a cabinet full of trophies and gold medals.
Alyssa starred in "The Nutcracker on Ice" at Knotts Berry Farm and skated/acted as "young Nancy Kerrigan" in an NBC movie. Other credits include singing on Neil Diamond''s Christmas album; singing on commercials; starring in school musicals and studying acting at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in London.
The songs she writes are melodic and rhythmic with poetic lyrics. People have compared her voice to Patsy Cline, Melissa Etheridge and Jewel.
Alyssa''s music video, "Falling From Mars" was a finalist in: the Star 98.7 music video competition; the San Diego Film Festival; the Queens Film Festival; the Memphis Film Festival (winner Jury Award); and the Feel Good Film Festival in Hollywood (where she performed live at the Egyptian Theatre.)
Alyssa has performed in numerous clubs in NYC, Nashville and Los Angeles, accompanying herself on guitar and keyboards.
