SRO crowds became the norm for this native of Niagara Falls, NY but, at the height of his success, Ron decided to take a break from the road and moved to Toronto, Canada to learn more about the business side and concentrate on his writing. Lasalle released his first single "Only The Strong Survive" on SBK records, going on to record the never released full LP for CBS Canada titled "Simple Glories".
Since moving to Nashville, TN, Ron has written and recorded with some of the worlds finest writer''s and musicians such as Garry Tallent and Max Weinberg of Bruce Springsteen''s band, Bucky Baxter (Steve Earle, Bob Dylan) George Marinelli (Bonnie Raitt, Bruce Hornsby).
