Ignatius Reilly were formed in Oakland, CA in 1996. During their brief career the band played extensively throughout California and won over audiences with their blend of hard rock, punk and power-pop.
"Picturesque" offers a glimpse of what the band had to offer; Driving, melodic Bass (Steve) and Drums (Matt, ex-Undesirables), along wild, often unpredictable guitars (Scott and Jules, ex-Kwik Way)and thoughtful, although at times completely irreverent, lyrics are presented by a front man (Scott) who may appear in a deeply introspective state of melancholy or in a manic rage, depending on what he feels is appropriate at the time.
