Larry''s first full album, "Long Island Slim", was released in June 2002. He has performed recently in coffeehouses and other small venues from Greenwich Village to Poughkeepsie, including the C-Note, Le Bar Bat, the Sun Music Company, the Baggot Inn, the Rising Café, Caffe Aurora, the Black Cow and the Funky Bean Cafe, where he hosts a monthly songwriters'' showcase. Reviews of his songs and performances include the following:

"Great acoustic blues/folk with much talent shown...A Robert Johnson of the new decade, just with awesome harmonica."

"Superb original songwriting craftsmanship, carried by Larry''s own voice. Great lyrics & fingerpicking."

"I Hate You Spring is a classic with great lyrics and a catchy melody. Its guitar parts shine through.... Its paradox is charming and memorable...great composition." - Nick Woods (for https://www.tradebit.com)

"[Sweet Uncertainty] is a passionate, sweet love song performed with an urgency uncommon in most folk music these days. I appreciate Larry''s honesty and ability to move as provided in this song." - Shaky Tee (for https://www.tradebit.com)

"[Time For Sale] is an amazingly fun folk song, that reminds me in different ways of Paul Simon, Cat Stevens, and Richie Havens. It''s just some acoustic playing and a great singer with melodic sense singing an extremely witty song.... This one''s definitely worth a listen or a hundred."

"[God Is In The Internet] is a must listen. Post modern mixture of a beautiful guitar ballad and the information age. I doubt you''ll be the same person (man, woman, or beast) after hearing this one. Enjoy!"

"Folk is still ALIVE! [Drunks Like Us] is a great example of an American folk song."

"I loved [Sweet Uncertainty]!...The true, endearing and memory-evoking feeling the lyrics and acoustic playing gave to me ...produced tears to my eyes.... This creation has been permanently added to my ''chill and reflect'' collection. Thank you most earnestly for giving me and others this invaluable keepsake."

"[Live at Le Bar Bat], Larry''s unique vocal flavoring with a hint of St. Louis-type blues style complimented by his superb, chordal/melodic acoustic technique and southern-fried, chain-gang harmonica output, gave pure pleasure to the nice-sized audience for this intimate venue. The band''s performances backed Slim''s songs with passionate fervor, and the lead guitarist threw in several well-balanced and controlled blues riffs & solos that greatly enhanced without overwhelming the songs." -MisterQ
