Born in upsate NY, Dave has been playing guitar since he was 15. For six years he studied under Gordon Moore, then after attending a local community college he began studying under Fred Hamilton at the University of North Texas. Known for its jazz program Dave was a guitar performance major in the jazz studies program. He started a band after a few months of attending the school. Playing through the DFW metroplex Dave was approached at a show and was invited to come to LA and record an album. After figuring out his sound for the album, he was privileged to work side by side with his now producer Graham Ward; who has worked with such well known artists as Paul McCartney, Tom Jones, Donna Summer, Phil Spector, and most recently finishing his new album Matt Goss. For the Summer of 2007 Dave recorded his first full length album Unconditional.
Unconditional was recorded at Synchronicity Music LA studios in Sherman Oaks,CA, under the watchful eye of his producer Graham Ward and engineer Gregg Sartiano who also had an appearance on the album on the Dino. Players on Dave''s Album: Graham Ward; as well as being the head producer of the album he also played drums/percussion on it. Kevin Savigar- CoProducer and Piano/Keyboards has worked with Rod Stewart for the majority of Stewart''s career, as well as well many other acclaimed writers some credits include "Forever Young", "I''m not going Down"- Jo Dee Messina, as well as many more Matt Goss- CoProducer and Back Ground Vocals Jeff Pasetto-Co-producer (on the title track Unconditional) Tim Pierce- Guitars Michael Smidi- Keyboards David Balfour- Keyboards/ B3 Les King- Bass Tim Cobzer- Guitars Angela Michael- Background vocals Special Appearance by Kirk Whalum courtesy of Sony-Saxophone
