Diane Burbach is an exciting, new Gospel artist from Portland, Oregon. Her music has been described as, “inspiring”, “uplifting” and that it “truly touches the heart.”
Diane’s first album will debut in August 2008, and is focused on music she has written to touch the adoptive soul. This album is diverse, in that it covers many aspects of the adoptive process. The Title song on the album, “A Loving Choice”, was recently performed at Portland Oregon’s Families Supporting Adoption (FSA) Conference, and was received with great enthusiasm. Chad Woolner, an accomplished acoustic guitarist, is the Producer and provides musical arrangement for this album.
Diane began singing publicly at age five. She wrote and performed her first song at the age of twelve. She has performed throughout high school and in her Church, and has continued to write Gospel centered music over the years. Most recently, Diane received inspiration to write a song that reflected an adopted child’s gratitude for her Birth Mother and Adoptive Parent’s “Loving Choice”. She performed the song at an FSA Conference in Portland, Oregon. That experience led to further inspirations such as: “I’ll Choose Life”, a song to encourage Birth Mothers to choose adoption, “Daughter by Design”, a heartfelt lullaby, “Our Family”, a song to celebrate the diversity of an adoptive family, and additional songs to warm the hearts of those whose lives have been touched by adoption. In loving memory of her own cherished, adopted brother, a percentage of the proceeds from this album will go to an adoption charity, Melodical Hearts. Diane has many more albums to come which include more Adoption music, Children''s music, Christmas music, and Christ centered songs.
